old sound

I'm going to be producing some new music over the next few months, so I'm posting some of the more finished tracks I've made over the last few years.

This is almost six years old now. It uses audio samples of Gene Wilder's voice from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory from 1971.

I made this one around a year later. My favorite part of this track is the silly ending with the switching between time signatures.

Collaboration with a fellow student at the time. He wrote the first melody and then I orchestrated the rest.

Pretty heavily sample-based, with pretty much a single chord/melody line. I like the disgusting synth sound and the evil modal harmony.

I obsess over chord progressions, especially secondary dominants. All I would play when I found a piano was this tune.

I can't get enough music with uneven time signatures.

Another little monster. The drums are kind of awkward.

I've had a version of this idly going for about two years but recently brought it to some kind of finish with the help of an instructor.
